Made for Global Game Jam 2026 in 48 hours, Mechanical Lungs is inspired by Papers, Please.

You play as a Filter Sanitation Clerk responsible for examining citizens’ masks and replacing their filters. Each mask must be carefully inspected, and decisions are made based on the perceived morality of each citizen. Your choices determine who survives, how the system functions, and whether you survive as well.
